Greetings from the O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo staff and artists. I would like to start off by giving a little bit of O.D. Custom Tattoo history. O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo opened its doors on August 18th, 1999 with these goals in mind: To provide professional tattooing with unmatched cleanliness and customer service, in a positive, friendly environment.

Although each artist at O.D. Custom Tattoo is highly talented and professional, we believe personality, along with respect to each individual client, is the key to a long lasting relationship to our clientele. Over these past 10 years have proven this to be true. No other tattoo service has been more recognized. Although we are not in this business to compete, we are proud of the People's Choice awards we have received over the years. As a matter of fact O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo has been voted #1 by our customers and fellow Quad Citians for the past 6 years. We were chosen #1 by the Rivers City Reader's "Best of the Quad Cities" 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 and voted "Best Tattooing Service" by the Quad City Times 2007, and 2008. Three of the original 4 Tattoo artist that helped put O.D. Custom Tattoo on the map when the shop opened in 1999 are STILL tattooing here after 10 years. Our piercer Nick, has been with us for nearly 9 years. This says a lot in regards to its friendly, professional environment. When customers come to us they can count on coming back to us.

O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo did over 5000 tattoos last year alone and an estimated 1,200 piercings all at the same location. The fact of the matter is we have grown out of our skin so to speak, and all agree that it's time to grow. After all, if you're not growing you're dying! We are exited to announce that we are NOW IN SEARCH of the NEXT O.D. Custom Tattoo apprentice to join OUR FAMILY... The O.D. FAMILY! In 2007 we took on a young Derek Jackson of Rock Island (who was only 17 at the time) in our apprenticeship program and he has become an outstanding tattoo artist with a fast growing clientele that has exceeded even our expectations, doing 3 to 7 tattoos on the average each day. After our experience apprenticing such a bright, talented, and motivated artist like Derek we decided to HIT THE STREETS and repeat this process by giving this opportunity to another, with dreams and ambitions of learning from the best, and working with the best. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS OPEN FOR ANY AND ALL WHO FEEL THEY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE NEXT O.D. CUSTOM TATTOO APPRENTICE.
