Jimmy Johnson, Shop Manager

My name is Jimmy Johnson, I am the father of two beautiful girls.  My interests include fishing, camping, film books, music, and of course tattooing and piercings.  My mission as shop manager of O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo is to make sure that everyone interested in top quality tattoos and piercings, get them.  I do everything that I can to educate, put at ease anyone that comes to our shop for a procedure, whether it be a piercing or tattoo.  Customer satisfaction is priority number one for me, and all the staff at O.D.  I would like to thank all the customers and extended family that frequent our establishment.  Without your loyalty and support, we couldn't do what we do.  I want to thank all of my friends and family, that are there whenever, whatever, because I couldn't do it without you.  Last but not least, I would like to thank my brothers at O.D. for letting me be myself, much love to all, Jimmy.

Sterilization

O'Tool Design Custom Tattoo uses pre-packaged, pre-sterilized, professional tattoo needles of the highest quality.  Each tattoo needle is individually packaged for each tattoo, and has an expiration date printed on it.  Artists at O.D Custom Tattoo inspect each needle with a magnification tool called an eyeloop, often used to inspect the clarity of diamonds and fine jewelry, to make certain that each needle being used is in perfect shape with no defects.  All needles used at O.D. Custom Tattoo are single use and discarded in sharps containers for proper disposal after use.

All tools used at O.D. Custom Tattoo that are not single use, such as tattoo tubes (used to hold and distribute ink during the process of tattooing), and all hemostats and piercing tools are cleansed (Cavicide, Organisol), scrubbed, packaged and dated, and then steam and pressure sterilized in an autoclave on premises for reuse.   O.D. Custom Tattoo purchases and uses only the highest quality stainless steel equipment and needles.

Biological Monitoring

What is biological monitoring?  Biological monitoring is a service that provides physical proof through spore testing that your autoclave or pressure sterilizer is up to code and working properly.  O.D. Custom Tattoo processes a spore test once a month through the sterilization process, and sends it to a lab to be tested.  The biological monitoring service then sends back the results.  This way O.D. Custom Tattoo ensures that all equipment being used is safe for the client.
